Chemical Regulatory Officer

Jotun enhances long-term competitiveness and financial performance through a responsible approach, attitude, and actions regarding Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ). As our new Chemical Regulatory Officer in Group Product Safety department (GPS), you will contribute to development of product documentation that meets standards and customer requirements all over the world.

GPS is located in Sandefjord, and provides regulatory and customer driven chemical documentation for all of Jotun's products worldwide. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in GPS, R&D and Marketing departments, as well as regional sites.

Duties and responsibilities
Create, maintain and publish safety data sheets for products and markets agreed with the business segments. Follow-up on national requirements such as product declarations. 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master's Degree within chemistry, biologi, toxicology and/or other relevant discipline
  • Interest and practical skills using different IT-tools and systems 
  • Knowledge about relevant international laws and regulations is an advantage
