We are seeking an energetic CEO in Telenor Maritime, with the ability to set the strategic direction and execute. Telenor Maritime is the leading global mobile operator at sea. Our customers operate in the cruise, ferry, fisheries and offshore industries. Our full-fledged, end-to-end mobile connectivity portfolio caters for all mobile communication needs at sea and supports all current mobile technologies and devices. We are looking for a CEO that can embrace the technological opportunities to improve the customer experience at sea, and at the same time drive competitiveness and profitability of the company.
Telenor Maritime is fully owned by Telenor ASA. Telenor Maritime has 75 employees, with headquarter, sales, delivery, technology and R&D, finance and HR in Arendal, Norway, and local offices in Stavanger, Bergen and Sweden.

Your responsibilities will be to (non-exclusive list):

• Drive and develop Telenor Maritimes business and operations together with a highly competent and performance driven organization
• Lead the development and execution on the long and short term strategic direction, objectives and activities
• Lead the day-to-day business operation and promote innovation in the way we work
• Secure that the company adheres to applicable guidelines, instructions, rules and regulations
• Work closely with other Telenor Group companies to develop opportunities and growth potential across the portfolio companies
• Prepare decisions for the company`s Board of Directors

We are looking for a leader who has:

• Proven experience as CEO or in other high level leadership position with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
• Strategic and business mindset, with the ability to both set the direction and execute
• Strong customer focus with the ability to create and innovate in partnership with others
• Strong understanding of performance management, cost efficiency and change management, as well as continuous improvement and simplification processes
• Track record of building trust and create engagement through involvement and inclusion
• Ability to empower, motivate and inspire people
• Ability to collaborate with international stakeholders and across Telenor Group
• International experience and experience from B2B and B2C businesses
• Preferably experience from the maritime and/or offshore industry
