Border Compliance Coordinator

£22,000 - £24,000

Due to business expansion, and consequently an increase in work, we are looking for candidates to join us as Border Compliance Coordinators in Immingham. Sound like a fantastic opportunity for you!!!

Working a shift pattern of 4 days on / 4 days off, due to our operations running constantly, we’ll require you to be flexible. (You will rotate a week at a time on the following shifts, 06:00 – 18:00, 10:00 – 22:00 & 12:00 – 23:59.)

If you are bubbly & outgoing, but enjoy working as part of a dedicated team, with a good eye for the finer detail, then please get in touch with us. A high level of IT experience is a necessary skill, due to the variety of computer systems used, but the team are on hand to develop and train the successful candidate on specific tasks. You must possess effective communication skills, be enthusiastic and dedicated to making sure we deliver for our clients every time to the levels they naturally expect Previous knowledge of Customs, Shipping or the Logistics industry would be desirable, along with the ability to multitask as you’ll be working in the heart of logistics.

Day to day you will be processing customs clearances, bookings, and manifest requirements, as well as immigration clearances. Coordinating with the local UK Border Force and ensuring the customs systems are handled correctly. Completing the uploading of dangerous goods manifests and maintaining a close liaison with relevant stakeholders with any queries. Focusing on our clients, further enhancing the existing relationships, to ensure & promote excellent levels of customer service throughout. You will be communicating with our terminal teams in both the Ports of Newcastle and Immingham, providing support in relation to customs ID for the many voyages.
