Poseidon Simulation is a part of the Poseidon Group which supplies maritime related educational and operational competence through products, services and local joint ventures to customers and partners worldwide. Poseidon has it's head office in the beautiful Lofoten Islands and living close to spectacular nature has also added to the company culture.

The first Poseidon firm in the group was established in 1988 by two maritime lecturers. It was founded on the idea of introducing user friendly and inexpensive maritime instrument simulators based on the PC platform. From the beginning Poseidon has consistently marketed and serviced its own nautical and GMDSS simulators worldwide. Poseidon now has more than 200 customers in about 60 countries.  

With Poseidon we encourage individual employees to also become active in social activities, and in this regard we promote the use of our resources and facilities for the greater benefit of themselves, their families, the company and our society.
