Key Responsibilities:

• To take instructions from Storekeeper/Warehouse Superintendent to assist in the daily operation of the warehouse and/or yards.
• To learn about the different material management functions and accept advice and teaching from Storekeeper/Warehouse Superintendent.
• To ensure the receipt, storage and issue of all materials is conducted in accordance with good warehousing practices & DNO standards
• To check all material receipts to ensure compliance with purchase orders
• To check all materials returned to the warehouse from clients are in accordance with the documentation and in good condition
• Manual Loading / Off-loading of PO Materials.
• Operate Forklift as & when required
• Prepare Materials from Job Order requests for end-users, as requested in a timely manner. Ensure Epicor transactions are processed accurately
• Ensure that items are appropriately placed on shelves and racks according to their types and sizes.
• Ensure that all materials stored are in good condition and report any damaged materials when noticed
• To assist in cycle stock checks by recording, counting & moving materials around as instructed
• Assist in reporting of warehouse general consumable usage to assist in the re-ordering process
• Carry out housekeeping duties at the end of every working day as instructed
• Follow DNO HSSE Standard & Procedure

 

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• At least two year’s knowledge and experience in warehouse operations.
• Working knowledge of relevant best practices & standards  
• Ability to take instructions and act on them in a safe and timely manner.
• Understanding of basic material preservation practices
• Must speak & read English & Kurdish
• PC Literate
