Digital Project Manager

The world is moving further and further into the digital space and we at DFDS recognise we need to keep up with this. Marketing combined with technology .... If you have a flare for both, we’ve got the role for you!

Due to expansion, we are looking for a Digital Project Manager to join us working at our site in Newcastle. You’ll be working with marketing functional teams to analyse current systems, ways of working and processes to support in the roll out of agile best practice. We need you to own the analysis and management of content using the STDC framework to identify which content performs best omni channel. Working with project teams, providing guidance to ensure they remain focussed and on track with agile techniques. Seizing opportunities to tweak and fine-tune approaches to guarantee the overall strategy is achieved – we’re all about innovation and doing things a little differently so we’ll want you to actively promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Within the role you will:

  • Take the lead on all Monday.com project implementation working, with all marketing teams to ensure projects are managed through correctly.
  • Drive cultural change by championing an agile mindset and ensure the organization is at the forefront of industry best practice.
  • Facilitate learning and development through individual and team coaching.
  • Champion the use of metrics and other objective measures across the teams.
  • Work with all marketing teams to build and optimise content-based user journeys.
  • Produce data-backed content opportunities and quarterly insight reports.
  • Proactively gather insights, opportunities, and intelligence to improve content.
  • Be adept at managing a variety of project work, collaborating with stakeholders across the entire DFDS network.
  • Manage process mapping, across all marketing teams and functions, identifying areas for automation.

We know that to come in and hit the ground running, we’ll need you to be a skilled marketing professional, who has experience of multiple language digital marketing activity across all channels. At least 3 years extensive experience in Digital Project Management & marketing frameworks, combined with agile marketing involvement. The ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills & experience of working with Monday.com. Ideally you will have a Marketing, Digital or Business degree or a professional marketing qualification, as well as experience of working with CDP (Segment), with strong data analysis skills.
