We are looking for an Accountant to strenghten our Financial Reporting team at our office in Arendal.

This role will be responsible for financial reporting for legal entities and/or branches within the Gard group. The role includes interaction with colleagues across functions and countries, in addition to external stakeholders. You will use the appropriate tools to ensure high level of accuracy and timely reporting.

We are looking for a candidate that is eager to learn and develop new skills, flexible, proactive and is able to see the potential for developing and improving current procedures and processes.

The successful candidate will have a university degree in business and finance or equivalent, with strong analytical skills and an excellent command of IT tools. We are looking for strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills in both Norwegian and English. Experience with accounting and/or financial reporting will be an advantage and candidates with competence in IFRS accounting and financial instruments will be preferred.
